Hello everybody! So I'm a cheap bugger and wanted some French, acrylic nails. :) I decided to give some of the do-it-yourself kit thingies a go. I remember when I was a youngin' that I would use similar kits as well, but being the age I was they turned out covered in glue and looking quite ratchet. But I decided to give them a go again!
I bought the Kiss Everlasting French Nails from my local Walmart. At Walmart they were only about 6 dollars (this including tax). I recently have seen some at my local CVS and those were about 7 dollars.
There is plenty of styles and I believe 2 lengths (haven't seen a 'long' length yet). Short and Medium are the two lengths that I have seen and I decided to go with the medium. There is also different styles to choose from including what shape you want the nail to be (mine was the squared shape)
The preparation for putting these bad boys on is very simple. If you think you're natural nail is long enough to be longer than the fake nails (wow!) obviously you need to file them down. You also need to lightly file the top of top of you're nails, just so the glue can stick to them easier.
After that is done, you simple find whatever nails fit your specific fingers. The particular box of nails I bought didn't have little tabs on top of them like some other Kiss nails unfortunately. I noticed this when I came home. The little tabs that are on some of the other nail styles have numbers on them to help you with choosing what nail will fit and also makes application a little easier, but even though these didn't have a tab it wasn't much more difficult so it was alright.
After finding what nails will fit you, you apply them. (obviously >.<)
And here is the final result! (after I applied top coat and a glitter coat)
I personally really liked the way that they turned out! They were very simple and easy! This is coming from somebody who can't paint her nails worth crap...... I'm not hand-eye coordinated at all but these were incredibly easy to apply.
They come in a very wide variety of styles, as well as sizes (they do make specific styles for petite nails). I would definitely recommend them! Nobody could even tell I didn't get them at a professional nail spa. :p

Blonde Britney VS Brunette Britney
I regret that I didn't mention in my last blog post that I am a huge, mega STAN of Britney Spears. *^-^*
I adore Brunette Britney. Don't get me wrong, the blonde is a classic for her, but she looks so much better brunnete than blonde now. I think it's because I feel that her makeup now doesn't compliment the blonde hair >.< I honestly feel that blonde ages her! Perhaps if she wore a nicer shade of blonde that complimented her more, I wouldn't mind. But it literaly puts like 5 year's on the woman!
Brunette on Britney reduces year's to britney. She looks so much more refreshed and natural. But of course, this is my opinion.

Hello everybody! So this is my new blog, so I suppose I am new! Well...not exactly. You see I did have a blog before, but unfortunately I forgot the stuff to get into it. >.< I'm dumb I know. You should alway's have you're password stuff written down somewhere so ya never forget it.....I know that now...
Anyways! It makes me a little bit upset since I had already posted about 3 posts (one a review for some Hello Kitty circle lenses). But whatever.
My name is Chelsey (obviously). My favorite color is pink and all thing's girly. I love floral print, and animal print! (leopard print ftw). I'm extremely girly so of course I enjoy makeup and all thing's hair. I am currently a junior in highschool. I attend classes for cosmetology as well. I love to colour hair :D
I am a huge fan of the gyaru fashion. I would not say that I myself am Gyaru, but I do get inspiration from the fashion but I don't think that I completely follow it per say.....
I will be useing this blog to express feelings or opinions, give reviews, hauls, picture spam for inspiration :)
Also, I am about to start a diet so I'm sure this will come in handy as a good weight journal type thingy. :)
Thank you for you're time! ^______^
